Marist network inaugurates its first college in the state of Mato Grosso

The Marist Network inaugurated last week its first unit in the state of Mato Grosso, in the city of Sinop. With Hype Studio architectural project, the Marist Santo Antônio College took about 1 year from the first sketch of the project to the completion of the construction of the first phase of construction, which featured rapidly implantation constructive techniques, such as precast structures and metal .

The work has three horizontal growth phases. With the first phase completed, of 6,000 m2, the next phases will follow without interruption of school activities, which began on February 5, receiving their first students.

All projects at the Marist Sinop College were 100% developed in Building Information Modeling (BIM), which facilitated the exchange between the various disciplines. The structural project was developed by Simon Engenharia, the management of the work by Projectabim and the construction was in charge of JL Construtora.

Completed, the structure will reach over 11,000 m2, will behave over 40 educational spaces and capacity to receive about 1200 students. The building with simple constructive solutions has rich and easily adaptable environments, which should provide discoveries, exchanges of experiences and instigate the search for knowledge throughout the various phases of the school journey. The classrooms have sliding doors aimed at an atrium that will be a large space of conviviality between the classes. In addition to classrooms, the school also has personalized courtyards by teaching level, multipurpose gym, multipurpose auditorium, watership, arts square, robotics space, sports fields, laboratories, library, among others.
