located in a central region of Porto Alegre, just 3 km from the city center, Gigantinho Gymnasium is served by two important avenues - Father Cacique and Edvaldo Pereira Paiva - next to the Brazilian Marine Park. With easy accessibility, its location favors the receipt of audiences from virtually every city for major events. Inserted in the Beira -Rio Complex, modernized for the 2014 World Cup, the gym takes advantage of the new infrastructure of the site, especially on access issues - pedestrians, vehicles, public transport, car and bus parking in excursions and many options of Food.
The project proposes the complete remodeling of the famous gym, inaugurated by Internacional in 1973, 4 years after the construction of the Beira-Rio Stadium. We cleaned all its inner parts of the numerous additions and rooms built over over 40 years, exposing its beautiful concrete structure and its even more beautiful metal structure, with a 90 -meter free span. The proposal reverses the end activity - Gigantinho is no longer a sports house that eventually receives shows (without structure for it) and becomes a concert house prepared and equipped for everything (including sporting events). /> The project includes the creation of great Concourses for the circulation and agglomeration of the public, providing more comfort safety; Deep internal reformulation, opening new exits for emergency evacuation; the new distribution of internal service rings with toilets and food kiosks; besides the creation of new cabins and vip spaces. Also part of the proposal were the climatization and acoustic treatment of gigantinho.
