Project for residence on land located in the city of Klosterneuburg, 11 km from the center of Vienna, Austria.
The project presents great challenges to work with technologies unusual to Brazilian architects, less accustomed to a climate with as much severe variations as this region of Europe: the external walls are 50 cm of final thickness and the windows have triple glasses, to stay in two examples.
The program is divided into 3 levels: an underground, which comes up by the front street because of the large unevenness of the land, where there are a guest apartment, garage and technical rooms; an intermediate level, which is ground floor in relation to the garden located at the back of the land, where the social area, kitchen, TV room and office are located; and an upper floor, with family dormitories.
The volume of the house is simple, following the rigorous zoning of the region. We seek to make the windows with generous dimensions to enjoy the beautiful view of the terrain, which is in a high region from where you can see much of the city.
A local office will be in charge of the municipality and details of the projects.
